I’m happy to share that TestMu AI supports the latest stable Appium versions, including Appium 2.x. In addition, early access support for Appium 3.0.2 is also supported, allowing users to explore upcoming features.

With Appium 3.0.2, there are a few important updates to keep in mind:

  • Capabilities now require the appium: prefix (W3C standard)
  • Drivers like UiAutomator2 and XCUITest need to be explicitly defined
  • Plugin-based architecture enables extended features such as advanced logging and network controls

TestMu handles infrastructure, device provisioning, and driver availability on the cloud, while you retain control over capabilities and configuration.
